We engaged with Mantis at the outset of designing a new, strategic development programme for senior leaders. I first met Sophie as part of the on-boarding process for my current role. Sophie is so clearly qualified in her field and provides a great service in helping understand your style, strengths and development needs as they relate to undertaking a senior leadership/management role. She utilises various “scored” exercises where it makes sense to do so but without sacrificing the inherent “personal” conversation/interview demands which are vital to making such engagements relevant and meaningful for the client (this is so not just a case of filling in a psychometric multiple choice!). The follow up that Sophie provided demonstrated a keen commitment to providing the best for the client, including meaningful and actionable guidance. I found the whole exercise rewarding and valuable.

We have used Mantis for Executive assessments on many occasions. The formal forensic reports are useful and informative and certainly flag up issues which can then be further pursued. I was both sceptical and a little scared when I was informed … I was to meet an external psychologist… “Old dogs, new tricks, etc., all were my initial thoughts”. However, Sophie was the lead mentor for myself and scarily understood me far too much for comfort in the initial meeting… she made me relatively comfortable discussing relatively uncomfortable subject material, i.e. my management style, strengths and WEAKNESSES, conflict areas etc… Am I more or less successful?
